Many people who are using the computer, they think that the icons on their computer desktop can not change because those are default. But do you know if you need, you can change anything. Actually, it is so easy to change the icons on your desktop. It is really simpler than you think, if you are interested in learning There are a few ways to change icons. One method is you can buy number of programs to change your computer desktop. But here we are going to show you how do it for free.

• Right click on the desktop screen where there already haven't  an icon, Now click on "Personalize" tab in this menu what will appear.  When you select Personalize it will pop Personalization window.  In this window Click on "Change desktop icons"
  

•  Now you will see a window that allows you to manage witch icons you need to appear on your desktop and also this will allow you to change their default icons too. Simply you can select which icons you need to appear on the desktop, for that you can check or unchecked those check boxes,  checked icons will appear and,  unchecked icons will not appear on the desktop

•  After selecting witch icon's you need to appear on the desktop we can move to the next step. Now select the icon you wish to change by clicking on it.  Now pressing this "Change Icon" button you can access to the windows default icon library where is the many icons you can choose, scrolling in this window you can select any icon as you need,  if you think there is a good icon, you can choose as a replacement for old icon.

• Are you thinking what you can do if there haven't  good selection for you?  Don't worry, here we have a Solution for that too,  do you see there is a button named "browse",  when you click it you can browse for an icon file or you can extract valid icon files including  executable file as known EXE or Dynamic-link library we call as a DLL. Just select your special Icon or library  file and then click ok. Now you will see previews of that change in your old icon,  now apply this change and then click "ok"

• Now lets look about that button you can see the name as a "Restore default". This is the button witch help you restore their default icons when you need, you will learn about it just trying once
